'Old Speed' Ardennen Rennen 2025

Just a few photos of our RHD Notchback on the ‘Old speed‘ Ardennen Rennen back in September.

Recently fitted one of our new P2-154 Engines and we were keen to see how it would perform on a journey from our home town of Billericay Essex UK to the Belgium Ardennes, to participate in the rally and drive home.

Broken speedo cable, phones duct-taped to the dash board, flying salad all over the floor (don’t ask), we flew through the mountains of the Ardenne region with a wonderful 154BHP under the right foot.

We went way too fast on the Saturday and managed to finish a respectable mid table overall when slowing down and paying attention on the Sunday … (Saturday was way too much fun 🙂 )

A lovely cruise home at 70 MPH the whole way home. Stopped to polish my Grandfather’s plaque in Ypres Church and a bit of tiffin. Then home for dinner. The old girl never missed a beat.

356’s are officially the best car in the world ! … apart from their speedo cable.
